Warm Wax Therapy - Relaxation & 'Me Time' Comes For Free!

Updated: Aug 31

At Stepwise Podiatry, we love our Warm Wax Therapy Treatment.

The Warm Wax Treatment adds a luxury feel to your feet, increasing blood flow, relaxing muscles and reducing the pain of aching feet.

Paraffin wax softens hard skin as well as adding extra hydration.

We use organic lavendar oil from The Organic Foot Company

You can enjoy the Warm Wax Treatment just on its own, which is useful if you don't need any other podiatry care, but perhaps suffer from dry skin, general aching in your feet, especially if you have been on them a lot, or you have arthritis in the foot joints.

However, if you are in need of some help with hard skin and toe nail care, for instance, then you can add the Warm Wax Therapy to your routine treatment and really give them a treat and feel good.

We aim to provide you with a relaxed environment - think calming music, chilling out under a fleece blanket with a drink of your choice (no cocktails I'm afraid! But we can offer, a cup of coffee or tea or a chilled bottle of water.

Feel relaxed and pampered

The Warm Wax Therapy starts with the application of organic lavendar oil, made by our friend and colleague Natalie, from The Organic Foot Company, massaged gently into both feet. Well know for its relaxing properties the lavendar oil also smells amazing!

We follow this with the application of the warm wax using a soft brush to build up several layers of wax on both of your feet. Your feet then get wrapped in cling-film or foil (this helps seal in the heat) and warm towels.

This is now your time to relax under the fleece blanket, listening to some music (or not, your choice) with a drink (remember, NO cocktails!) If you'd like bring a magazine or book, then feel free to do that too.

We leave you to relax for 15-20 minutes whilst the warm wax gets to work.

After the wax is removed we use our Gehwol Foot Cream (we like the Lavendar, Rosemary and Mountain pine because we think it complements the treatment perfectly).

We hope you, and your feet, now feel very pampered!
