How will we use your personal information.
Stepwise Podiatry Limited, 44 Market Street, New Mills, SK22 4AA collects personal information about where you live, contact details, medical conditions and medication to support your care with us.
We will not share your personal data outside Stepwise Podiatry Limited, but may sometimes share it within the company (between Francine Henderson and Helen Longshaw). We will only share your personal information with each other when we feel it is appropriate, to help us with a diagnosis and treatment plan.
Your treatment notes, and appointments, are kept electronically on our Patient Management System, Cliniko. At your first appointment we asked you to complete paperwork about you, your medication and medical history. This paper copy of your personal information is scanned and electronically attached to your clinical record and then the paper copy is destroyed.
We also use Cliniko as our electronic appointment diary, and when you make your appointment with us we will record your full name and contact number within the diary. If you have consented, and provided us with your mobile telephone number, an automated text message is sent to you the day before, to remind you of your appointment.
The information held about you and your treatment , in Cliniko, is only visible to authorised staff at Stepwise Podiatry. The Podiatrists have full access to all your information but our administrative staff only have access to your personal information for the sole purpose of making your appointment/contacting you if needed.
Transmission of data over the internet is inherently insecure and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
By law we must keep your clinical online records for 7 years after your last appointment with us.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to us using your personal information at any time.
